Short crust paste

3 | Butter | 55 gms |
4 | Castor sugar | 15 gms |
5 | Moisture | 15- 30 ml |
6 | Egg optional | 1 yolk |
7 | salt | ¼ tsp |
METHOD:
Put flour and baking powder into butter.
Rub the mixture nicely
Mix castor sugar into it
Add moisture using cold water only till we get a binding texture
Keep it in fridge to set.
Roll out into tart moulds, prick with fork to avoid blisters.
Bake at 180 degree Celsius.
